Re-thinking PhD
. In the last training session of my PhD, I met a guy from Norway, a sound artist who creates sound installations with a painter and a video artist. In the first part of the session, he was talking about artistic research. His perspective as an artist and resercher was very interesting, of course. I have allways found it a deeply interestig topic cause the methodology of artistic research, still building, has to be defined from the understanding of the essence of the art itself, and, for me, this thought is very very interesting. The second part of the session, he showed us his artwork, and that was shocking. The research questions from my PhD, he had already asked them, and he had already answered them. For some hours I thought I had to rethink the whole basis of my PhD...
